MAGAZINE EDITOR, 2019 – present.

Music-wise, rooted in old heavy metal / 80s synth / punk / post-punk, a turning point for me was the mid-nineteen-eighties crossover scene which gave us hardcore, thrash metal, death metal, black metal, pagan metal, doom metal, avant-garde black metal and so on. Anything powerful, and meaningful, really….like dark folk ( when it gets cold ), dark pop, or modern classical music on BBC Radio 3. It all goes back to the grimness of the 1980s and early 90s…

Starting in summer 2019, the magazine quickly started to get hundreds of visitors a day, with some interviews going into the thousands.

As well as running this magazine, I play guitars and drums in BRETWALDAS, a crusty blackened pagan doom band I share with a miserable bastard from Birmingham called Wartooth.
