MAGAZINE EDITOR, 2019 – present.
Oldmansmettle is on a mission to interview inspirational people who were either creating noisy music in the grim 1980s and ’90s, continue to do so, or have just begun making art in that tradition.
Starting in summer 2019, the magazine quickly started to get hundreds of visitors a day, with some interviews going into the thousands.
As well as running this magazine, and just to prove I can string two notes together, I play guitars and drums in BRETWALDAS, a crusty blackened pagan doom band I share with a miserable bastard from Birmingham called Wartooth. If we weren’t such a pair of miserable bastards, I’m sure we could be huge!
